Balmoral Island Stingray & Beach Day

Ready to meet a new animal friend in the Bahamas? If you have never encountered a Stingray, then this is your opportunity to meet one on exclusive Balmoral Island. A scenic ferry from Nassau brings you to the home of your new friend.

Upon entering the Marine Park, you will receive a brief orientation on the stingrays at Balmoral Island complete with details on their anatomy, veterinary care and the human services they receive. Afterward small lockers are provided to secure your things during the encounter. Walk from the sandy beach directly into the waist level water to be with the stingrays. The expert stingray handlers will introduce you, let you pet it, feed it and even hold a stingray for a photo that you can purchase separately. After the 30-minute encounter with the stingray, you are free to enjoy the rest of the island for a delightful beach experience.

The swaying palm trees, azure blue water and soft white sands are available exclusively for you on this beautiful private island. The staff will direct you toward the beach with rows of inviting lounge chairs, dotted with umbrellas for shade and a perfect beach day. There is something to do for everyone; swim, splash, play in the ocean, beach games, volleyball, Ping-Pong, browse the boutique, enjoy a cool cocktail – it’s really up to you. There is unlimited use of noodles, inner tubes, kid’s toys and free WIFI available on the island. You can also rent floats, paddle boards or snorkel gear to discover the creatures in the crystal-clear waters just off shore.
